It's not that difficult, the Church has been progressively departing from the proper Orthodoxy/praxy of the Church... Instead of the gold found in her priests offer trash found outside her... I can't blame them for wanting to leave, if not for the BOC I would leave... Shoot if never have joined!!
Regardless of what the results all we shouldn't worry about the steadfastness of our churche's teachings... I believe this survey will be done to understand what is bothering today's youth and to set up the proper educational opitunities to avoid such problems
from MyPoustinia@msn.com - I very much look forward to sharing with you considerations about Church membership. Although I am 71 years old, I have been blessed with being ever-young at heart. Blessings upon you!
the truth is youth are leaving. reality check. so no one here is the father of lie, not even you. we all will learn from the truth.i encourage everyone to speak.
I'd like to make the church aware of the fact that this anonymous survey will motivate those who have agendas and motivations to cite "reasons" which are in fact fabrications and bitterness towards an already hated institution by some because of the stance it takes on lgbt issues, female ordinations, long fasting periods, etc. Many of the "orthodox" people taking this survey may not be orthodox at all but individuals with hidden motivations agaisnt the church. I ask the Pope's office take these "results" with a grain of salt and not issue any changes based on the emotions and feelings that will certainly be spilled out on these surveys. Granted there will be honest individuals who cite very legitimate reasons but unfortunately it will be hard to sift through what is coming from genuine individuals and those who have hidden motivations and have calculated their answers and how they're going to present it as individual experience in order to illicit change in the church. I have faith that the church will be vigilant and won't fall for any lies. The best method for the church to know the real problems is what's communicated between sons and daughters to their fathers of confession. It is the only trustworthy and authoritative way to verify it isn't coming from the anonymous and hidden persons who seek to damage the church rather than actually "help" it. The online world is full of very believable lies and is very deceptive in its presentation of any fact or story. I ask the church not be moved or shaken by what it sees or hears but rather rely on the faithful accounts of her children told to her bishops and priests. This, in my opinion, is the best way. God bless your effort and may He protect us from the devil whom Christ Himself called "the father of lies"
returntoorthodoxy.com, your comments are focusing on the youth as opposed to whether the church herself can make improvements. I love your other work though and greatly admire what you do for our church.
