I watched 60 Minutes on CBS tonight about Copts. Although it presented many good things about the Coptic Church, it also portrayed the Copts as the only supporters of a military coup. Then churches were destroyed as a revenge of Coptic support to the military.
As you know, the whole country approved what the military did except the Muslim Brotherhoods. In the aired meeting with AL-Sisi were sheikh of Al-Azhar, Pope Tawadros, and representatives of many civil institutions and the Islamic Hezeb Al-Nour, were not Copts alone. In addition, Copts did not support the military financially, by force, or by providing any tangible help; the Pope only attended a meeting among tens of other people representing Egyptian people, including Muslims.
My understanding sometimes the 60 Minutes issued a correction or follow up. The question is how this could be corrected? Thanks.
