Important announcement concerning the next several days in the Papal election process
HG Bishop Paula, the official spokesperson of the Papal Nominations Committee has announced that the election for the new Pope will begin on October 29th. The global Coptic church will observe strict fasting on October 22-24 and October 31-November 2. The Altar lottery will be on November 4th.
Various Coptic and Christian channels will air programs about the five Papal candidates tomorrow.
There will be Divine Liturgies in the coming days with sermons from each of the five Papal candidates.
